	The Ven. Nick Barker Priest in Charge Nick is married to Katherine, a teacher, and they have four children, Sam, Thomas, Katie and Tim. Nick was born in the south of England, but grew up in Wharfedale, and Dentdale, going to school at Sedbergh: and so Nick has deep roots in the north of England. Following a curacy in Watford, Nick became a team vicar in Manchester, and then Team Rector and Area Dean in Kidderminster. Nick, Katherine and the family came to Darlington in 2007, when Nick was appointed Archdeacon of Auckland and Priest in Charge of Holy Trinity. Nick enjoys walking and beekeeping.
